  • The middle layer is made from RG grade cross-linked, closed cell expanded ethylene vinyl acetate foam, known for its excellent vibration absorption and resistance to oil, diluted alkalis, and acids.
  • The top and bottom layers are composed of specially moulded SBR rubber, which is ribbed to prevent machinery movement and ensure stability.

Application & Usage:

The CWT Anti-Vibration Pads are recommended for use with machinery that transmits vibration to floor surfaces. For optimal stability, four pads are typically used—one under each corner or foot. For heavier machinery, additional pads may be required based on the weight and structure of the equipment.

These anti-vibration pads are also perfect for use between an anvil and its stand, helping to dampen both sound and vibration while hammering. Whether for industrial applications or workshop use, they provide reliable noise reduction and protect surfaces from excessive wear.

Weight Recommendations:

• For Units ≤ 2000 kg: A minimum of 4 pads is recommended—one at each corner.
• For Units Between 2000 kg and 4000 kg: At least 8 pads (2 per corner) laid side by side will provide optimal support and vibration control.

Practical Illustration

A unit of 2000 kgs or less will generally require a minimum of 4 pads, one per corner or foot. However, the footprint of the machine may dictate the use of additional pads. For example a machine with a long flimsy channel base may require two or more additional pads.

For items more than 2000kgs but less than 4000kgs a minimum of 8 pads will be required, 2 pads per corner or foot, laid side by side (not stacked on top of each other)
